About Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre

Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre opened its doors in 1977 and is a family-oriented gymnastics facility that prides itself on an environment full of endless possibilities. We are the home of 3 former Olympians: Monica Goermann (1980), Kathleen Finnegan (1984) and Bonnie Wittmeier (1984). The facility is 11000 sq. ft., fully equipped with 6-piece men’s and 4-piece women’s Olympic equipment, a trampoline and tumble trak, and everybody's favourite - an oversized foam pit.

For the parents, we offer a spacious viewing area upstairs.

Our mission goes far beyond gymnastics—we strive to create a healthy, safe and positive environment for families and individuals to come and grow. We aim to inspire a new generation of gymnasts to work on their balance, flexibility, strength, and body control while developing their confidence and self-esteem.

 

At Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre, we believe that motivation is the first step to success. That's why we employ the best coaches in the business, so the individual can get the most out of their training and reach their dreams. Recreational to Competitive Classes are available for ages 18 months to adults.

Our coaching staff is anchored by Celia Champion who is the Owner/Operator and Head Coach. She is a passionate and positive advocate for gymnastics and the WGC membership. Behind her, we have a complete team of enthusiastic coaches who come with vast experience and knowledge of gymnastics.
